Malibu On Fire

Numerous homes along Pacific Coast Highway have been evacuated due to a brush fire in Malibu. The fire, driven by powerful Santa Ana winds, destroyed a church and several homes.

James Cameron and Olivia Newton-John have already evacuated their home. Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, Sting, Bill Murray, Tatum O'Neal, Rob Reiner, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson all own homes in Malibu and could be asked to evacuate soon as well.

Update: More than 1,000 acres have burned in today's Malibu brushfire.

Update 2: That number has just gone up to 2200 acres!
