Jenn's Dinner Date With Gerard

Jennifer Aniston was spotted on a dinner date with Gerard Butler Wednesday night at one of Jen's favorite Los Angeles nightspots, the Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

They may have been romantically linked a few months back, but this dinner was strictly business. Jenn and Gerry were joined by director Andy Tennant.

"Jennifer, Gerard and Andy had a 2 hour dinner at approximately 9pm," an observer tells Star magazine. "They enjoyed a lovely dinner and drinks while talking about a future project. Jennifer was enjoying a glass of white wine."

There was no naughtiness after dinner either, Jenn and Gerry just gave each other a goodbye hug and left separately. It's too bad they're not romantically involved, they would make the cutest couple!

Jenfraud: Let me get this right, he denied it because he was on Oprah, but had no problem stating this earlier. Are you stating that Brad just says what he wants and then back tracks because it isn't going to shine the most popular light on him? Am I going to believe his antics with Dianne Sawyer, I mean, since he is with her and in that situation and all. I think he was setting it all up to be with Jolie. So should I believe all that he says in the papers and interviews because because he is just a stand up guy? All you have really proven is he is someone who manipulates to get what he wants. He says things that will shine him in a good light. He is with the person he should be with. That I believe. I think those two were meant for each other.

Tirsh---so sorry to break it to you--Brad's own words. He said that he is the happiest as HE HAS EVER BEEN, implying that his life with Aniston was not nearly as fulfilled. He said he CANNOT IMAGINE the life without his family. On Oprah, what is he supposed to do while selling his movie to the MiniVan You-Go-Girl audience? Declaring the truth saying his marriage was just a business? They WERE in a business relationship, so of course he had to deny it. Jenfraud: It is so funny that you think that Brad was so unhappy with Aniston. Do you remember Angelina talking about when they met. She stated in an interview that he was married to his best friend and neither was looking for a relationship; it just happened. They fell in love. Jolie's words Jenfraud, no one elses. As far as the "business merger" stated by Brad, look at an interview that Oprah did with him, when she quoted that whole thing with him and he stated something like, "Did I say that"? I can not remember the exact interview but it was when Aniston and Brad were still together. I can't for the life of me understand your hate for Aniston? Both Aniston and Pitt both declared their love for each other. Getting the seven year itch, thinking it's greener on the other side or being seduced by another women, turning 40, is not necessarily the fault of the woman. People cheat for many reasons and the most common one I have seen is because they are uncertain and unhappy with themselves!

trish, what VOWS do you expect any man to keep, when your wife PUBLICLY on PRINT declares that he is NOT the love of his life? This happened a few years BEFORE Angelina came into his life. Then he stated that their marriage was a BUSINESS MERGER. I wouldn't call that a 'marriage vows' that you Aniston fans impose on Brad. It's unfair. He stayed in the loveless marriage for much longer than he should have, enough time to get Aniston and her fans deluding she maybe also a super movie star.

Butler satisfies her fan's wishes I suppose, but why in the world do you think he would even blink to think of dating an aging TV sitcom comedienne, let alone Brad's REJECT? _____________________ No one is hung up of Jennifer finding someone hotter than Brad. There is more to a life partner than looks. Brad is no prize and proof came from when he couldn't keep his vows to his wife in the first place. I see him as a weak man and I find him only adequate as an actor. I am not going to jump about Aniston dating anyone, as the paps only want to sell their magazine and make money, so they tend to say anything. It is not about Butler, or anyone satifying my needs as a fan. It is her life, her decision, and choice of who she wants to share her life with. If she is happy, I am happy for her.
