Jennifer Aniston on Dating: I Realized I Didn't Want to Settle

And all it took was four months with John Mayer.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are still going strong, and while neither of them really talk much about what it’s like to date each other (lots of vacations and lots of leather jackets), Jennifer does say that she’s much happier now than she has been with past partners.

“Having experienced everything you don’t want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want,” Jennifer told the March issue of InStyle magazine.

“As I get older, I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won’t settle for.”

Number one being, “must not cheat on me with A-list humanitarian actress.”

Ah, come on!! You knew it was coming. It’s not like I mentioned Angelina Jolie out rightly.

Anyway, speaking of getting older, Jennifer Aniston is 43 going on 23. The actress looks better than ever, so it’s hard to believe anything would make her feel old. Because if I looked like that, I really wouldn’t give a crap how old I was. But Aniston says there is one thing that reminds her of her age:

“You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are 20-something, or the new crop of actresses, and think, ‘Aren’t we kind of the same age?’”

Jennifer continues: “I don’t feel my age. I feel young every day.”

And when it comes to Justin Theroux, Jennifer doesn’t say much, but there is one trait she praises him on:

“First of all, he has great style—it’s very specific, and it has been his style forever," she says. "Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has. ‘Oh, look, you’re dressing alike.’ And I think, No I’m not. I’ve had this jacket for three years!”
