Jennifer Aniston Gives Letterman Her Tie

The tie that Jennifer Aniston famously wore during her naked GQ cover a few weeks ago made more headlines than her upcoming movie. Last night while visiting David Letterman on his Late Show, Aniston gave him an early Christmas present he couldn't refuse.

"This is an early Christmas present," she said as she handed him a box with the same tie she wore on the infamous cover. The tie was too short on him, which prompted Letterman to jokingly ask if she had purchased it at the boy's department. That prompted Aniston to snap back that it was a "a historic moment in [her] career."

"As you get older, you get more comfortable in your own skin," she said about going naked. "Feeling good inside leads to feeling good outside." And we're not going to lie, she looked damn good on that cover!

Switching gears to her infamous Vogue cover last month, in which Aniston called Angelina Jolie "uncool," Jenn she rolled her eyes and said, "I think it's all been said at this point." Point taken--so stop talking about Angelina if "it's all been said."

you JF, while being critical, does make insightful and valid points. Obviously Jen wanted to make a big splash. She is up against her ex husband at the box office and has pulled out all the stops. She deserves a success and I wish her all the luck in the world. I have mixed feelings about women doing that. She is changing her images from TV good girl to film star and film stars are normally a little wilder. I think she is trying to break her stereotype before she is married (which is soon, not to John, who is an actor).

Hey anon, did you see that CAA (through the mouth piece Aniston) is now Back-Peddling on the GQ nude picture, after the overwhelming negative press (completely eclipsing Aniston, the 'artist')? Again, as I said, it is completely incomprehensible that this woman denies any responsibility what so ever of her own words and actions, often blaming someone or something else. The only conclusion, aside from a real possibility her brain is FRIED (with her continuous pot and cocaine use), is that CAA advised her to do one thing, watch the press and if it's negative, she is having to try damage control. This has been going on for ever. It is utterly strange. Now what you said makes total sense that Aniston probably told CAA, it was done in private while she was married. However Brad is completely at peace with himself now and with his life as a father and as the head of the big family with a woman who shares his values. Is Aniston so blind, or her hatred and years of jealousy towards Brad, got so twisted now that she would sink so low? final comments to JF : yes, she was portrayed as a victim, but everyone in LA knows that is not the case, she simply didn't make the move out of the marriage. In her mind she "won" the battle. She was quite cruel to her exhusband in some ways by doing certain things to hurt him. She basically didn't like him when it got to the middle of it. Jen has this cruel streak sadly, that may come from the cig addiction. He wasn't stimulating enough. It was all pretension and image, for their careers, that they were forced to maintain. From what I know, they are trying to get the old marriage annulled, which is more than divorce, meaning the marriage is as though it did not exist. That will allow both parties to have religious marriage ceremonies with their real partners, as opposed to simply legal ones.

I'm not a "brangeloonie". I have no real opinion on these people. I just know what is going on behind the scenes because of my career. I don't like the duplicity and I know why they are doing it. It resolves within weeks, but Mayer is 100% an actor. Jen knew there was someone better than Brad, someone who was more like her and fitted her needs instead of competed and he found her. Wait and see. It all turns out well. FYI I am not using anyone as some sort of totem pole to hate. I really dont have any personal animosity. I just feel, since I know, I should tell people so they aren't misled by these ugly, meaningless capitalist games coming out of the academy and CAA, that are making Jen walk around with Mayer temporarily as a cover. You are very perceptive Jenfraud. And the misogynistic angle is entirely correct and is deep rooted both in Jennifer's person psychology and the psychology of her agents, Stephen Huvane and Aleen. She was born in a single person family. Just her and her mother, an actress. Through the years, she became the missing energy in her mother's life. The person her mother "needed". She was the "smart guy", the witty person, "the tom boy" and in subtle way replaced her father as an affirmative, controlling force in their two person family. This created the castration energy Jen feels towards men for power. It is deep rooted. Her agents are Stephen Huvane and Aleen, who are both gay without families. Stephen is the guy who is with her everywhere. She is under his 100% control. Him and his 3 very powerful brothers (Kevin, head person at CAA, and Chris, editor at West Coast GQ) control her career 100%. So that is what is really going on. CAA know that stable relationships do not sell, families are not that interesting, since they aren't positively controversial and lucrative. Jen has plans to marry someone hidden. I know that because of my career. She is currently putting on a fake with "friends" (Vaughn, Sculfor, Mayer, Bouma) before she marries, and wants to get rid of the energy of her ex. and his new partner first. Brad is a superficial, amorphous, person, who because of excess attention, became distanced from reality (with the hair, the excess money, the focus on vanity as opposed to substance) so his fake persona as "sexy man" crashed ..............and he sought out meaning. Which was a big attraction in AJ who seemed to reject that vanity parade. Plus Jen really didn't like him inside. She rejected him, but everyone told her she should like him and she followed.... it was a good career move, organised by Steohen Huvane that solidified their careers in the public eye and gave the Huvanes millions ...So the essence is this : she has secret plans, and is "acting" with friends until she marries this person and tells the truth. That is reality. The person is very ideal for Jen and is a grounding creative force that she needs. What is published in magazines, and the photo-op situations she creates, are basically PR junk for publicity dollars and increased exposure. They are controlling the media instead of letting the media control them.

anon, to tell you the truth, I haven't really heard of Aniston until the divorce, not having to see her sitcom at all. It was only when Brad Pitt divorced and the subsequent debacle, which made me take notice of her, not as an artist but as a media manipulator. I just couldn't understand why this woman obliges to portray herself as the lowest form of working woman, casting herself as a victim. That made me clearly see that there is a huge mechanism behind her, almost a misogynistic (!) machinery that is controlling her speech and actions. That bothered me, as a supporter of independent and working women (mothers). After reading your posts, I learned of CAA, and their orchestrated business practice for this particular actress, who seems completely clueless to CAA's agendas. I see that Aniston is not very bright, and as long as she gets ink space and air time, she feels CAA is worth her money. But in fact this company (CAA) is using her, pushing some kind of agenda. CAA knows this situation is temporary and for a big reason.... they arranged it. I guarantee the truth will come out. I am sure this is dont to protect privacy, but it is really a self defeating charade. I don't like the act AT ALL, and I know some of what is going on behind the scenes, but I don't know everything.... I am looking forward to the truth getting revealed too. I am surprised you follow this situation JF. Have you worked with this actress in some regard or are you are you simply interested observer? Vince Vaughn flew into Miami and gave John advise about the act. Vince was acting too. He said he found the whole experience "unfulfilling". this is just media games for maximum exposure to challenge Pitt head to head at the box office. She is pulling out the stops to beat Pitt. They always had a competitive relationship and that is why they grew to hate each other. She is doing anything she can to appear hotter than Brad and Jolie. Happy stable relationships are not sensational and dont make the tabloid headlines, that is why she has faked it until she can produce the other guy’s films. This blabbering moron Mayer will do anything, say anything, be anything for media attention, because what he is at heart is someone deeply insecure with himself.
