It seems like just yesterday that the world was worried about Jennifer Aniston becoming a spinster. Nowadays, she’s a bad-boy dating, clothes-shucking wild child.
Alright, maybe not, but she does get naked in her new movie ‘Wanderlust,’ and she’s happy about it.
“Yeah, there was a lot of [nudity],” Aniston told ET Canada. “Bottomless, topless. Yeah, there is. It’s happening.”
Well, if you couldn’t get your man to watch Jen Aniston rom-coms with you before, you should have no problem now.
Aniston says the nudity in the flick fits “the spirit of the movie.” The movie is about a couple who moves from urban Manhattan to a rural hippie commune. So yeah, being naked makes sense.
"’Liberating' is a good word to use," Aniston says of her character's nakedness. And as far as dealing with the other actors taking off their clothes, Jen says she just "figured out how to throw on a pair of sunglasses."
Oh, there was also an interesting prop on set: a prosthetic penis, used by actor Joe Lo Truglio.
“You’re mesmerized,” Aniston says of seeing the fake dong.
Her costar Paul Rudd agreed. He said he “was too busy looking at Joe Lo Truglio’s penis” to notice a blossoming romance between Jennifer and Justin. Aniston says it’s “bizarre” to see her character’s relationship with Justin’s character unfold in the movie, because it was before they officially started dating last summer.
“I mean, at the time, we didn't think about it at all," she says. "Not until months and months afterward."
Girl, he’s a straight man. You might not have been thinking about it, but he definitely was. Especially after those nude scenes.
