Yes, this is a thing Jennifer Aniston is doing now, and god love her, she doesn’t seem to care.
Photographer/friend Terry Richardson just posted on his blog a bunch of photos of Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux being all lovey dovey and stuff. The photos were taken on a rooftop in New York City.
My initial reaction was eye rolling followed by the thought: 'we get it, you're in love'. But come on, guys. Look at the pictures. These two are freakin' adorable. Richardson posted the four black and white pictures along with a shot of NYC with the caption: "New York Love Story."
Probably the most adorable one is Jennifer smiling at the camera while Justin kisses her on the cheek with his arms around her. If you can look at that sh-t and not think "awww!" just a little bit, you are a robot.
Another shot shows Justin smiling while Jennifer puts on a pseudo-pout, aka fish face.
So sweet. It seems just like yesterday we were calling her a spinster and wondering what all twelve of her cats' names were. Now, it's even rumored that Justin is planning a proposal.
In Touch reports that Justin is getting ready to propose to Aniston, but he doesn’t want it to be a "cheesy orchestrated event." So what, no rose petals on the ground while a pony and Kris Jenner enter the room and pretend to be surprised in front of the E! cameras?
A friend of Justin's revealed: "He wanted to take her on a long road trip to Santa Barbara and propose on the beach. He knows Jen is The One."
This gives hope to single middle aged women everywhere. It's never too late to meet the man of your dreams. As long as your hot. And have big boobs. And a lotta money.
And a proposal isn't the only honor Jennifer's about to receive. The 18th annual Elle Women in Hollywood gala plans to honor Jennifer for "redefining women's roles in movies."
I'm guessing they're talking about Horrible Bosses, though it took me a while to figure out one role Jen's played that's not "slightly neurotic girl-next-door."
Michelle Pfeiffer, Viola Davis, Evan Rachel Wood, Naomi Watts and Freda Pinto will also be honored at the event.
"As has long been our tradition, this year we honor an extraordinary group of women who continue to redefine what is possible in Hollywood," said Robbie Myers, the editor-in-chief of Elle.
