The Office star Jenna Fischer recently opened up to Jay Leno. That's what she said.
No really. On Tuesday night's Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Fischer revealed the sex of her baby—and it's a boy! Fischer said it was her parents' second grandchild, but first grandson.
"This is an exclusive, Jay," Fischer said, just to set the record straight that he got the news first. "When I went to my movie (‘A Little Help’) premiere the other day, a reporter asked me if I knew what I was having. I said that ‘I do, but I’m not sharing that yet because I’m going to have Jay be the first to know.’"
Leno joked: "Like a lot of girls, you were saving yourself for Jay.”
Apparently, the pregnancy will be worked into the upcoming season of The Office, so perhaps Jim and Pam will be expecting again. Or maybe Pam just got real fat.
In her upcoming indie drama, A Little Help, Fischer veers from the typical roles we're used to seeing her in. She plays an almost alcoholic widow who deals with the deteriorating relationship she has with her son.
"Laura is the least like me personally of any character I’ve ever played. She was this very pretty girl in high school and things came very easily to her. That was not my experience at all. I was kind of a wallflower. I was neither a nerd nor popular, I just went unnoticed."
