Move over P. Diddy because Jay Z knows how to really throw a party. Jay Z turned 40 on December 4th and he decided to fly out all his close friends to the Dominican Republic for a weekend long birthday party.

Jay and Beyonce reportedly flew out-Oprah Winfrey, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, Kate Hudson and Ne-Yo by private jet and had them staying is some seriously nice luxury suites. On Friday, the party he hosted had a 'Scarface' theme and partygoers were treated to Dom Perignon champagne and caviar.

The party didn't end there! The following day, guests were treated to a brunch barbecue before they took to the seas on a private yacht.

This is the part where we all sigh wishing we were friends with Jay Z and Beyonce. Now wake up and get back to work!
