Jay Z: He banked $82 million when he sold his urban apparel line Rocawear to Iconix Brand Group in a deal topping $204 million.

George Lucas: In May, toymaker company Hasbro paid Lucas $200 million to buy back nearly 16 million warrants for Hasbro stock the company awarded him in 1997 as part of a Star Wars toy licensing renewal deal. What did he walk away with? $1 billion in just 20 days.

50 Cent: 50 hooked up with Vitaminwater back in 2004, letting it sell a flavor named for him, Formula 50, in exchange for a small equity stake in the company. Three years later, Coca Cola acquired Vitaminwater for $4.1 billion, netting the rapper $100 million a month before his 31st birthday.

Howard Stern: Stern can thank his bosses at Sirius for boosting subscriptions for a second year in a row, giving him $82 million in stocks.

Sammy Hagar: Former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar pocketed $80 million in May when Gruppo Campari, maker of Campari and Skyy vodka, bought the rocker's Cabo Wabo tequila brand in May.

Oscar de la Hoya: He won a record-breaking $55 million from his May title fight against Floyd Mayweather.
