Kevin Eubanks Leaves The Tonight Show

Guess we're not the only ones with Team Coco. Jay Leno's longtime bandleader and sidekick, Kevin Eubanks will be leaving "The Tonight Show" when Jay returns on March 1st.

Eubanks reportedly "wanted a chance" and will pursue other opportunities, reports Extra. Maybe he'll follow Conan to Fox?

Another source says he will appear on the debut of the revamped "Tonight Show" when it returns on March 1, but will leave shortly after the show starts the season.

So who will replace Jay's trusty sidekick? There are rumors that Former Hootie and the Blowfish member Darius Rucker is being considered, but that's still up in the air.

Eubanks has been apart of "The Tonight Show" for the past 18 years so it's going to be sad to see him go. His heartfelt chuckle will be missed. Who do you think should replace Eubanks?
