We've been hearing rumors for months that Jay Leno's new prime time show is going to get canned, but it looks like NBC found a solution to keep him on the air.
Instead of canceling Jay's show, he's reportedly going to go back to his 11:30PM time slot. So where does that leave Conan O'Brien?
According to sources at TMZ, NBC hasn't decided if they're going to give Jay a full hour or have him come on after Conan. Either way the change is expected to occur after the Olympics on February 1st.
A rep for NBC tells TMZ: "Jay Leno is one of the most compelling entertainers in the world today. As we have said all along, Jay's show has performed exactly as we anticipated on the network. It has, however, presented some issues for our affiliates. Both Jay and the show are committed to working closely with them to find ways to improve the performance."
Poor Conan, he finally got the 11:35 time slot and he could lose it in less than a month. Whose side are you on? Jay or Conan?
