January Jones has lightened up on a tabloid story that seems to define her celebrity.
The “Mad Men” actress doesn’t speak on the identity of her son’s biological father…unless she’s joking that is.
Like when she says, repeatedly, that James Marsden is the dad.
In an interview with Playboy magazine, James said of their meetings that “Every time I see January, she’s like, ‘Hey, father of my baby.’”
It’s their own way of making light of tabloid rumors which link the two together because both started in the same X-Men movie franchise, something that couldn’t have happened considering they were in different installments.
“There’s so much stupid talk out there,” James added. “I think that came from somebody thinking we were both in X-Men so it must be true.”
January, who gave birth to her son Xander Jones in 2011, doesn’t plan on divulging the paternity of her son to the press because quite frankly it isn’t really our business to know, unless your name is also Xander Jones.
“It’s just not something the public needs to know,” she told The Edit. “I don’t divulge my sexual preferences. There are parts of your life, no matter what your job, that should remain private.”
