Janet Jackson dropped a bombshell today on The Oprah Winfrey Show as she announced that she hasn't spoken to Justin Timberlake since the infamous "wardrobe malfunction" at the 2004 Super Bowl.
"We haven't spoken. But I consider him a friend, and I'm very loyal, and friendship is very important to me. He has reached out to speak with me. Like I said, friendship is very important to me – and certain things you just don't do to friends. And in my own time, I'll give him a call."
Janet revealed that she felt dissed by a certain degree by JT in the days and weeks after the incident, in which the teen star ripped her bustier, exposing her breast to millions of viewers. Jackson, who releases her new album 20 Y.O. on Tuesday, feels that she unfairly bore the brunt of the media scrutiny after the Super Bowl performance – which she deems an "accident."
Janet also revealed that she hasn’t spoken to her brother Michael Jackson since he was acquitted of child-molestation charges in June 2005, a trial that Janet says "took its toll on (the) entire family." "He keeps in touch with Mother," Janet says, "so we know what's going on with him."
Speaking of Lady O, the queen of talk shows launched her own US satellite radio channel this morning with XM Satellite Radio. Can you say cha-ching?Oprah can now add her own radion show to her ever expanding empire.
