Janet Jackson
Michael Jackson was one of the most famous men on the planet, but his private life was so private, fans would be shocked to know what went on behind closed doors.

Most of us were shocked to learn that Michael was addicted to dangerous drugs like Propofol, Demerol, Valium, Xanax and opiates like Oxycontin, but his family was well aware of his addiction and even tried staging an intervention for him.

"Of course, that's what you do," Jackson tells Robin Roberts in an interview clip which aired on Wednesday's Good Morning America.

"Those are the things that you do when you love someone. You can't just let them continue on that way."

"We did a few times," Janet added, the youngest child in the family. "We weren't very successful."

She added that Michael understood they were doing it out of love, but he was in denial over the fact that he had a serious problem. Such a tragic loss!

Here's how it goes, you and me up and down, but maybe this time we'll get it right, we'll get it right. 'Cause love is something you can shape when it breaks. If you feel like leaving I'm not gonna beg you to stay 'Cause soon you'll be finding You can run, you can hide But you can't escape my love And in the end just our love matters. You can run, you can hide But you can't escape my love (x10) Here's how it goes, you and me up and down, but maybe this time we'll get it right, we'll get it right. Michael's early death was not a given. Only the most imperceptive would deny that the slow drip of the anaesthetic that killed him was, in reality, just a formality. What killed Michael, was the sustained trauma of being put through a baseless, protracted trial that should never have reached court, knowing that if found guilty he would be removed from his children's lives. And even after acquittal, facing the relentless villification by the media, who - post 2005, decided to simply disregard a verdict they found economically inconvienient. In years to come, perhaps reasons will emerge from the rubble as to why a supernovic talent with a history of unparalleled giving and a persona of complex innocence was systematically humiliated, tortured and stripped of his dignity and spirit for a period of over 15 years on the basis of astonishingly non-credible accusations – and more importantly, why this was actively encouraged. I invite all reading this to stop buying into the thought that we are powerless - and instead do something incredibly powerful. On the 25th November something amazing is going to happen. A global prayer, request - call it what you like, is going to sweep the planet. Millions will come together at 14:00 LA time in a concerted effort to anchor love and healing on the planet and to connect with the now - world soul of Michael. Go to majorloveprayer.blogspot.com.for details and time converter information. An intention has also been put into effect. I ask all to add this intention into the effort on the 25th. Affirm it daily in your hearts and minds and hold this vision with trust and belief. 'That the truth of Michael's integrity and the innocence of his intentions and relationships with children will be unequivocally known and understood by all on this planet - in our lifetime. ' The truth is coming.

You guys need to stop judging this family. How do you know they never intervened? How do you know anything for that matter? You don't! And MYHOLLY...to answer your idiotic question, she had cancer! Not funny, little girl. Please stop with the judging. You don't know what went on in Michael's private life, and you don't know who tied to help and who did absolutely nothing.

A properly staged intervention could work; at least the first time. We can't rely the clears thinking of a person dependent upon drugs and we certainly can't ask them if they want help when you know that they are in denial and will refuse. These people are helpless and require strong intervention. There is a point when they have to decide on their own to stay drug free, if possible. But I feel the initial intervention takes much careful planning and for the safety of the person and other family members, perhaps children something can be done. It has been done before in other familys. Not blaming any one. I am sure everyone feel they did the best that they could. The world continues to love MJ and we pray that the Jackson Family will eventually find a way to deal with this loss. They will never get over it but God will be a leaning post until they can lean for themselves. The world mourns with you Mrs. Katherine Jackson. We love you.
