We haven't heard anything about Brit's pregnant teenage sis Jamie Lynn for a while now, so a rumor was sure to pop up sooner or later.

Word around town is that she's getting hitched y'all! Jamie's boyfriend Casey Aldridge has apparently given her some bling and she's been showing it off to friends in Louisiana.

"She's got an engagement ring," a 'close family source' tells People. "She's been showing it off, talking about it."

Engaged? We'll believe it when we see it! Do you guys think they're still together, or are they done and the family is just trying to save face?

so...i wonder if anyone is aware of the fact that A LOT of 16 year-olds get pregnant! Like a lot. and a lot of people get married young. Just cause shes famous doesnt make the situation any different. Get over it.

As a matter of fact- to all those who are in a disagreement. I am now happily married to the father of my child (whom I had when I was 18)... life couldn't be better!!! and I am now 29. So maybe all of you pessimists should cheer up !!!! ;)

I respect Jamie Lynn an incredible amount. She got herself into a mess, and instead of having an abortion and acting like nothing happened, she's taking responsibility for her actions, having the baby, and letting people that don't even know her ridicule her all over the world. She is definitly a role model to teenagers by saying, if you wanna have sex, be prepared for the consequences. Whether or not this "rumor" is true, it's not the public's right to judge. What she's doing is incredibly brave and classy.
