Jamie Foxx doesn't keep his Oscar at home because he is scared his friends will steal it. Isn't that a bit strange? Lock that shit up in a glass box I tell ya! Foxx, who won the Best Actor award for his performance in 'Ray', says he is too afraid to keep the gold statue at his home.
He told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: "My statue is actually at my manager's home. I have the type of house where I have these comedians who come through and I wouldn't want it to walk away."
Foxx - who is currently starring alongside Colin Farrell in 'Miami Vice' - also revealed his daughter gave him some words of advice before his winning night.
He said: "Just before the ceremony my daughter Corrine said, 'Daddy, if you don't win, you're still a great actor.'"
Having won an Oscar for acting, Foxx admits he is keen to move behind the camera. He added: "For me being in the movie business is one of the greatest places you can be and having any type of success is great. I would definitely like to do more, perhaps writing, producing or maybe some day directing"
