Needless to say, Jamie Foxx and Lady Gaga have interesting friends. But this might take the cake. Apparently, because of their friends, they're both now caught up in a multimillion-dollar international drug cartel scandal. Oops.

The FBI discovered that two men behind the criminal operation are friends of both Foxx, Gaga, and Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson.

Warren Braithwaite was arrested in a five-state Drug Enforcement Agency sting that uncovered a drug ring that distributed thousands of pounds of marijuana. Braithwaite was Foxx's good friend, while secretly running this underground crime ring, according to law enforcement documents.

Hide your kids, hide your wife! Simon Cowell is on the prowl, looking for a host for his new show, X Factor. According to London’s Daily Mirror, after being turned down by Jennifer Lopez, Cowell is now interested in Jamie Foxx.

According to the Mirror's source, “Jennifer quickly saw sense and pulled out of US X Factor, which is why you’ve got this unseemly scramble for judges going on as we speak.”

They reported that Lopez originally took Cowell up on the offer because she was “was bowled over by [his] charm”, but was then lured back by American Idol creator Simon Fuller.

But all the hype may be just that. After the Daily Mirror was done with the story, Simon was “seething” after Lopez “snubbed” his offer. Between this story and Cowell’s ego, it may be that London just likes blowing things out of proportion.

People reports that a source close to X Factor says, "She wanted to do X Factor because it was a new show with a potentially younger audience, but she was independently also in talks with American Idol at the same time. When Simon found that out, X Factor immediately pulled out of the negotiations."

While it’s possible that People’s “source” might just be Cowell calling in with a voice modulator, their story sounds a little more reasonable. Plus, the Mirror’s claim that Lopez was blown away by “Cowell’s charm” already makes me skeptical.

Jamie Foxx would be great, but if he declines, Cowell should look for a much younger judge to balance things out. He’s 51; his take on what’s current might be a little skewed, as evidenced by his flat top. Seriously, I don’t know what’s going on up there. But that's what happens when a man over fifty still has hair.

Jamie Foxx found himself in a small scuffle at last night’s Usher show in Hollywood. Which brings to question, how does one get into a fight during Usher show? When I think Usher, I think relaxed, smooth melodies. This ain’t a Geto Boys concert! It’s not a Gwar show! So what happened?

According to TMZ, someone in the audience took a “pot shot” at Jamie, and pretty soon, fists started flying before security broke up the fight.

After the show, Jamie didn’t appear to be hurt, as he walked to his car surrounded by security guards. Damien Dante Wayans, the nephew of Damon and Keenan Ivory, witnessed the fight and said it was just “a little altercation…between two friends.”

When I have an altercation with my friends, it usually just involves some passive aggressive comments and the cold shoulder. But I guess punching is cool, too.

Jamie Foxx, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of legendary musician Ray Charles in Ray and Lost actor Dominic Monaghan, helped to hand out $500,000 dollars worth of musical instruments to school students in the US this week.

Foxx dished out new violins, flutes, French horns, trumpets and drums at the event at Walt Disney Concert Hall, which was part of the Fidelity Futurestage program, an effort by the investment firm to enrich arts education in American public schools.

Speaking to Hollyscoop, Foxx said he was inspired to help out because of his own musical background. “[My career] started in classical music. I tell people that and they go ‘No, get out of here, you from In living Color’. I started playing classical piano when I was 5 years old,” he told Hollyscoop exclusively.

He credits his grandmother for helping him appreciate and love music. “My grandmother said ‘take this music because it will take you somewhere’ and I ended up going to college [with a scholarship] in San Diego International State University…I had a Russian pianist teacher and a Yugoslavian music theory teacher and it was the most incredible thing in the world. It really developed my skills, I was not the best but at that time it was a place for me to at least try to succeed and things really worked out,” added Foxx.

Foxx praised Fidelity for stepping in and helping out when public funding had failed because he knows how important it is. “I remember coming up to Hollywood and I remember taking the classical music that I knew and doing it in jokes because I did not have enough money to get my own equipment. I remember singing, Snoop Dogg songs like ‘Opera’ so I would always use that background to fuel my career.”

Foxx may be infamous for his hip-hop beats now, but he still credits his classical background for molding him into the musician he’s become today. “It’s a great place to start because it teaches you discipline and it’s amazing what classical music is. You have to think, classical music has you talking about a hit, Mozart, Beethoven we play their music for years and it’s still incredible when you hear those classics it’s amazing,” he told Hollyscoop.

Jamie Foxx may be infamous for his womanizing ways, but the actor/singer claims he's too old for real love.

Foxx admits he has no problems finding potential girlfriends or going on dates, but they always lose interest when they realize the age difference. We have a hard time believing that Jamie.

He is quoted by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper as saying: “What’s weird is when you meet a girl who is 23 and you are talking to her, even her voice is high-pitched, she’s young.

“You ask her how old she is, she says, ‘23, how old are you?’ and when I tell her I’m 41 it’s like I’ve just told her I have cancer. It’s ‘Oh my God, how long have you had that?’”

Here's a thought Jamie, maybe you can date someone your own age? Believe it or not there are hot intelligent woman over 23. Just a thought.
Hollyscoop approved hottie Gerard Butler has a brand new movie coming out co-starring Jamie Foxx.

Gerry plays Clyde Shelton, an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case.

Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice.

Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

Also featuring Bruce McGill, Colm Meaney, Leslie Bibb, Michael Irby, Regina Hall, and Viola Davis, Law Abiding Citizen comes to theaters October 16th.

Jamie Foxx was the host of last night’s BET Awards, which subsequently became a tribute the late Michael Jackson. Many artists came out in support of the King of Pop, performing hits such as Bad and Billie Jean.

But one of the most memorable moments of the night was when Jamie Foxx, wearing a red leather jacket and one white glove, made famous by Michael, attempted the moonwalk on stage.

He told the crowd, “It’s been ’83 since I’ve tried this!”

He added, "We are here for the greatest. There's no need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man - he belongs to us - and we shared him with everybody else. It don't matter what he looked like ... what his nose looked like ... it was what he sounded like. Who was the best?"

The crowd shouted,"MIchael!"

The 2009 BET Awards may have been dedicated to Michael Jackson, but a tearful speech from his sister Janet Jackson quite possibly stole the show.

Wearing all white, Janet took the stage at the Shrine Auditorium to thank fans for all their support in the wake of Michael's passing.

She said: "My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful so they elected me to speak with all of you.

"I would just like to say that to you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts.

"On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love - thank you for all your support. We miss him so much," she said as she fought off tears.

As she left the stage, Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder and Ne-Yo performed the Jackson 5 hit I'll Be There and a photo montage of Michael played on the screen in the background.

If Jamie Foxx thought he could just say 'I'm sorry' about the vulgar comments he made about Miley Cyrus and call it a day, he has another thing coming!

Miley's overprotective father Billy Ray is now chiming in on the feud and talks about how "hurtful" the comments were.

During his weekly radio show, The Foxxhole, Foxx reportedly told Miley to "make a sex tape and grow up," while other guests added that she should "Be like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Be like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian...get some crack in your pipe. Now that's what I want."

During a taping of The Bonnie Hunt Show, which airs on Thursday, April 16, Billy tells Bonnie, “It was hurtful, there wasn’t nothing funny about it, and quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic.”

Foxx tried to explain that he's a comedian and views his show as the "Black Howard Stern," but that doesn't justify telling a 16 year-old to make a sex tape and do heroin. His comments were pretty outrageous and we have a feeling this feud isn't going to blow over anytime soon. What are your thoughts on the situation?
Yesterday, Jamie Foxx made headlines for bashing Miley Cyrus on his Foxxhole show over the weekend. Today, he is trying to be a gentleman and apologize.

"I so apologize ... and this is sincere," Foxx said on Tuesday's Tonight Show With Jay Leno. "I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it."

"And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far," he added.

Jamie Foxx, who has a teenage daughter, made some very insulting comments about Miley Cyrus joking about her gums and advising her to do heroin and make a sex tape.

Foxx also explained the premise of his Foxxhole show, "I have a radio show... We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart." He then looked into the camera and apologized one more time saying, "Miley, I apologize, so I'll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand."

Do you guys think he went too far with his jokes or is it acceptable since he's a comedian?
