The Oscars may be weeks away, but James Franco is already prepping for the big show.
James will host the big show this year with his good pal Anne Hathaway. And from what he tells us, it's going to be an awesome show!
When asked what we can expect from the show James told Hollyscoop at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, "You got Anne Hathaway, [who is the] youngest host ever, that is new."
"There might be some singing, there might be some dancing," he teased.
Aside from hosting, there are talks that James may get a Best Actor nomination for his work in 127 Hours. So how will that work if he's hosting the show?
"Barry is going to [take it]," he joked. He was referring to his good pal and publicist Barry Johnson. "Remember Marlon Brando had somebody accept it for him, Barry is asked."
James already has so much on his plate you would think he needs a little vacation after the Oscars, but nope. Back to work he goes. "I just did a movie, I just directed a film that I also acted in about the American poet Hart Crane, The Broken Tower, that is the next one. I guess the next two released will be Your Highness and Caesar."
Sounds like there's no stopping James in 2011. Do you think he'll make a good Oscars host? Who would you have chosen as a host if you were part of the Academy?
