Jada Pinkett Smith are always coming under fire with rumors about their marriage. Jada’s heard it all, including that her husband is gay, and that they’re swinger.
But in an interview with Q100 in Atlanta this morning, Jada said she has learned to laugh off all the silly rumors after being married for eleven years.
Jada said, "I've heard all the things -- their marriage is not real, he's gay, she's gay, they swing. But at the end of the day, people have to believe what they have to believe."
"One thing Will and I are not here to do, is like, what's real for us is what's real for us, so you can either get on that bandwagon or not. I'll tell you what, it's too hard to be in a pretend marriage. Life's too short for that one."
Jada attributes the rumors to people having their own insecurities in their relationships. She says some people think “that’s the only way your marriage can work” if you swing or have affairs.
But Jada maintains she and Will are doing great, and she says, “You have to let that roll off you.”
