Well, technically, his fiancé is. On CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, Jack Osbourne announced the news, saying:
"My life is absolutely insane right now. I guess technically I do have something to tell you. I'm about to be a father. I'm excited. I'm a little nervous, but I'm excited. It's going to be fun.”
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were also on the show, and the grandparents-to-be were thrilled. Well, Sharon was thrilled. I can never tell what Ozzy is emoting.
"I'm in shock," the heavy metal legend said. Although he might be referring to years of drug abuse rather than the new baby.
Sharon added: "I'm happy because it's what Jack wants. And so I'm happy and I've always wanted to be a grandma.”
Ozzy also said, "It’s fantastic. It doesn't matter what I think - the baby's on its way."
Jack already has some parenting rules, too. "I'm not going to do a reality show!"
I give it three years, tops.
Jack's sister, Kelly, is also excited about the newest Osbourne addition, calling herself the "luckiest girl in the world."
Kelly Tweeted: " girls night in w/ @lisamarstelly my future sister in law & mother of my niece/nephew we are so happy the news is out so i can talk about it. been waiting 2 say this for so long im the happiest girl in the world im going to be an auntie! @lisamarstelly welcome 2 the family i
Kelly is referring to Lisa Stelly, who Jack got engaged to a couple of weeks ago. Stelly is a model who appeared in the video for Green Day's 21 Guns. The two have been dating just a little over four months.
"The most amazing man I've ever met asked me to marry him....and he wasn't joking! Crazy, right?," Stelly said on Twitter.
While Jack Osbourne had tumultuous teen years, which included battling an addiction to OxyContin, he's cleaned up his act majorly in recent years. In 2010, Jack directed Ozzy's music video for Life Won't Wait. And sure, say what you will about him falling into a job because of his name, but directing Ozzy Osbourne can not be easy.
Jack also produced a documentary about his dad titled God Bless Ozzy Osbourne. The documentary centers around his father's life story, from Jack's perspective.
A friend of Stelly's told Us Weekly that Jack "is a great influence on her. It's just no drama. More stable."
Congrats to the new dad. Seems like just yesterday we were watching you yelling at your sister on The Osbournes.
