Legendary American actor Jack Nicholson was born on April 22, 1937 in Manhattan, New York. Jack made his screen debut in 1958. His career took off after his performance in Easy Rider in 1969. Over the next few decades, Nicholson has made many quality films. He won Best Actor for his work in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in 1975.
Jack is one of only three actors to be nominated for an Academy Award every decade since the 1960's. Nicholson is tied with Walter Brennan for the most male best actor nods with three.
Off the screen, Jack is a die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fan and is a regular fixture at home games. In 2007, Nicholson starred opposite Morgan Freeman in The Bucket List.
