Hugh Jackman to Star and Produce Wolverine Sequel

The next Wolverine movie is a go! According to reports, Hugh Jackman is set to star in and produce the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The Hollywood Reporter states that the sequel will take place in Japan.

The character of Wolverine will face an inner battle between following his killer animal instincts and his work as a Samurai. This story line was hinted at after the last movie’s credits rolled. (The other teased a spinoff based on Deadpool, the character played by Ryan Reynolds.)

This sequel was put into development after X-Men Origins: Wolverines made $180 million at the domestic box office. The next one is sure to be even bigger!
