Behind The Red Ropes: XIV Restaurant & Lounge

Celebs have a new Hollywood hotspot to call home. SBE's latest venture has only been open for a few days and it's already creating a huge buzz.

So what's this restaurant & lounge so unique? "Social dining is what we're calling it. So it's an experience of talking with your friends, eating, drinking wine, experiencing the room. It's not your typical restaurant. It's supposed to be something different," said Brent Bolthouse.

The grand opening was such an hit that Toni Braxton stopped by to get a sampling of XIV’s gourmet fare. "I don't get to go out much, I'm a mom, I have two kids. So when I go out, it's really important that it's great, and this is going to be great," she said.

Sam Nazarian, the genius behind the SBE group, also threw in his two cents saying, "It is the newest dining concept, it will revolutionize dining. It will also bring in a level of dining that is so elaborate, but also so accessible and fun." Fun, yes. Accessible, not so much. Make sure to make a reservation before you arrive, because chances are one of your favorite celebs is already sitting at the table you wanted.
