It’s always good to see Hollywood’s finest coming out for a good cause. Hollyscoop hit the red carpet at the 16th Annual Race to Erase MS event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles this past weekend, where we caught up with some stars who had come out to help support a good cause.
The event created by MS Survivor and advocate Nancy Davis kicked off May’s Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. Each year since its inception the celebrity filled gala has raised millions of dollars for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis and its Center without Walls program, a selected network of the nation's top seven research centers that operates with one mutual goal: to always communicate and never duplicate medical research.
The star-studded event featured exciting live performances by the Eagles and Michelle Branch with an amazing Live and Silent Auction.
When Hollyscoop caught up with Nancy Davis about what MS means to her she said, “it means that we’re that much closer to finding a cure for MS. So excited to have this event and have everyone turn out and be here to support us in so many different ways, we’re just really lucky and everyone has been so generous.”
Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger was also on hand and said how excited he was to be at the event. “I love the fact we know we’re raising money for such a great cause.”
