Geri Halliwell is the latest to invest there, as she’s planning on opening up her own nightclub in Dubai.
According to the Daily Star, Geri is joining forces with her new boyfriend Nick House, who own two London nightclubs, Mahiki and Whiskey Mist. The two are in talks to bring a third business to Dubai.
A source tells the paper, "Geri has always dreamed of owning a hotel or nightclub so now she's really pushing for this. She loves all the glamour and glitz of Dubai and she just can't wait to get started on this new venture."
Dubai definitely seems like the place to be! At least if you’ve got the money to get yourself there! But with the economy still doing poorly, maybe she should sit on this idea for a little while instead of diving right in!
