Action thriller 'Taken' reigned at the box office this weekend bringing in over $24 million dollars it's in opening weekend. 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop' held onto the number 2 position, while 'The Uninvited' rounded out the top three with $14 million and $10 million respectively.

Here are the top 10 movies from the January 30-February 1st weekend.

Notorious: The life and death story of Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Christopher Wallace), who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the world of rap music by storm.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop: When a shopping mall is overtaken by a gang of organized crooks, it's up to the a mild-mannered security guard to save the day.

My Bloody Valentine 3D: Tom (Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, however, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame (King) is the only one will believes he's innocent.

Hotel for Dogs: Two kids secretly take in nine stray dogs at a vacant house.
