The Hollyscoop gals were invited to the third year anniversary for clothing boutique Karizma located in the OC. Karizma is a hot spot and is known to cater stars such as Britney Spears, Vanessa Bryant and Lauren Conrad. With all the “Laguna Beach” girls in the spotlight and “OC” fever, we decided to take a trip down south and get to see the “real” OC for ourselves. At Karizma we met the owner Shellie Okon who gave us a sneak peak for the hottest looks. We got to check out the hot chain bracelets worn by Nicole Richie and the hot Rachel Pally dresses worn by Paris Hilton and Sarah Jessica Parker. While at Karizma, we met a young OC socialite named Monica Otero who gave us an insight to the OC world. For fashion, Monica told us the girls in the OC are “not in your face and more subtle”. The OC girls follow the fashion trends worn by Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez. In the OC it’s all about the “battle of the handbags”, summer dresses, long straight hair and a lot of plastic surgery. While in Karizma, Monica showed us the three hot items that OC socialites would wear. Her first pick was an Anna Sui peach dress which ($398), an Anna Sui handbag ($ 940) and Anna Sui two tone boot ($826). Although the items Monica chose were the same designer and color, according to this socialite “you never wear all these three together”. Most socialites don’t work; have daily two hour work outs, raise money for local fundraisers and shop at local boutiques. As this socialite says “Being Fabulous is a full time job”.

If you want to relax check out the Montage Resort , which offers fabulous treatments and amazing massages. It also boasts a stunning all glass gym with top of the line equipment and a private pool. The views are spectacular and the service is superb!
If you are in the mood to party check out club Tentation Ultra Lounge. The all white Miami-style club has VIP cabana's that are elevated and roped off, have excellent bottle service, and some of the best guest DJ's in the world have come to spin, such as DJ AM. Adjacent to the club is the restaurant of the same name that has amazing sushi and fine cuisine. Lastly, Panini is also part of this group which serves Kabobs, and delicious Mediterranean/middle eastern fare!
If you are in the mood for more partying then check out LandMark in Corona del Mar. A happening spot on Thursday nights, even Paris Hilton was spotted at this club with Matt Leinert when they dated for 2 seconds. That’s the scoop from the “Real OC”
