The NY Post is reporting that former Governor Eliot Spitzer will not face any charges for the sex scandal that cost him his job.
Eliot, who used to be a frequent Emperor's Club client, found a favorite in Ashley Dupre paying $1,000 an hour to be with her. He went by the name "Client #9" and paid for women while he was in DC and Florida.
Regarding the federal probe, Eliot said, "I acknowledge and accept responsibility for the conduct it [the investigation] disclosed. I resigned my position as Governor because I recognized that conduct was unworthy of an elected official."
Since results of the investigation found that he did not misuse public or campaign cash, he basically gets off scott free.
