Hollyscoops Best And Worst At The Emmys

It was the biggest day in television and all we could think of was who was wearing what! The Hollyscoop gals were glued to their TV sets and after hours of deliberation, we finally decided on the “Best and Worst” of the 58th Annual Prime Time Emmys.

Our top favorites include Evangeline Lily who stunned us with her Versace goddess-like frock in the hottest color of the season purple. Katherine Heigl looked amazing in her Escada vintage nude beaded gown and Katherine truly brought the “Old Hollywood” glamour on the red carpet with her open neck, keyhole back and hair do. Another star that got the look right overall was none other than Project Runway’s Heidi Klum who struck our eye with her red Michael Kors gown. Although Heidi is ready to give birth to her third child, she couldn’t have looked more radiant. Another supermodel on the red carpet that left her mark was Tyra Banks who wore Georges Chakra couture trumpet gown valued at $50,000 accompanied by 3.5 million diamonds by Chopard. The rebel with a short cause had to be Eva Longoria who ditched the long gown for a short flock. Eva matched her white dress with a silver metallic clutch and shoes.

You heard the best dressed and now on to the fun part. The Hollyscoop worst dressed award goes to Paula Abdul, who in our opinion had everything wrong. From her hair to the jewelry to her floral gown, Paula was anything but an idol! Other stars that join Paula on this list include Cheryl Hines, who wore the right color but didn’t realize that her back looked like a painting. TV star Tracy Gold looked horrendous in her flapper flock, the color wasn’t right and her skirt looked like car wash wipes. Although we love Marishka Hargitay and are thrilled she took home an Emmy, we were truly disappointed from her Carolina Herrera gown. We were not digging the cascading flowers, the high neckline and hair style. Ironically, our final worst dressed award goes to Joan and Melissa Rivers. Although they make a living mocking people’s fashion wear, these two need to make a fashion emergency 911 call ASAP.

Speaking of the right wear, we noticed that the look for men on the red carpet was black suits, full white color shirts and thin black ties. In our opinion Kiefer Sutherland , Seal, Kevin Beacon and Justin Chambers all pulled off this look very well. Speaking of Justin Chambers, he gets the “Hollyscoop Red Carpet Hunk” award along with his co-star Mr. McDreamy. The rebellious men on the red carpet had to be Jeremy Piven who ditched his tie for a scarf and Simon Cowell who ditched his tie for his chest hair. We also created a category for hottest couple in terms of the overall look and the award goes to Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford, Seal and Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. All these three couples had complimentary looks towards one another that made them shine on the carpet as a duo.
