"They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he [Doug] just thinks it's lame," said Paris. "I've never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it's about."
Paris’ comments already prompted Holly Montag to retaliate telling Hollyscoop exclusively that she thinks Paris is “just jealous” of the shows success. And Holly isn’t the only one upset about the comments.
Hollyscoop caught up with the Queen of the show, Lauren Conrad, at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards to get her reaction to Paris' comments. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion,” said Lauren.
Spencer Pratt sang a different tune when we caught up with her. “Its really hard because I've always liked Paris. She's always been really awesome whenever I've hung out with her. I've actually been quoted a billion times saying that they're [Paris and Doug] are my favorite celebrity couple. They're so nice so it’s a low blow.”
Pratt went on to say, “It’s so crazy because she has a show on MTV so she shouldn’t call any MTV show fake…she should apologize.”
One of the only cast members not offended by Paris' comments is Lo Bosworth. She told Hollyscoop Paris' comments “they don’t really bother me," adding that "everyone has their own opinion and that’s hers, so no harm no foul. It's not the end of the world.”
Paris Hilton's My New BFF show debuted with pretty low ratings on MTV, while The Hills is still one of the most successful shows on the network. So maybe Paris should take a page out of their "lame and fake" book. It might help her ratings!

While Paris' comments angered a lot of Hills fans, it also annoyed some of the cast members from The Hills, especially Holly Montag.
Montag spoke to Hollyscoop exclusively at the Oakley Intro to Summer Event at Skybar at the Mondrian in West Hollywood on Thursday and gave us her thoughts on "fake" Paris and gave her a warning.
"She has her opinion, and she's just being protective [of Doug] because no one wanted to see Doug on it, right? Because he only lasted what? 3 episodes? You I don’t know if it’s because of the reality [part of the show] that she’s talking about, but I think she’s done reality too," Holly told Hollyscoop.
She added, "I think if we’re gonna compare shows, let’s take a look at [Paris' show] Best Friend or whatever its called and let’s just check out the ratings and we’ll see. If she calls us out, we call her out right back!"
When asked why Paris would make such public statements about a reality show being fake, when she herself has a similar show, Holly said, "We love Paris, she’s so nice, but she’s just jealous."
Holly added that she loves Doug because "he’s such a sweet guy. He’s the nicest guy ever," but warned his girlfriend Paris to "quit dissing our show," and added, that she really hopes Paris "hears that" warning.
For someone who has a reality show based on finding a new best friend every season, Paris really shouldn't be making public statement slamming other "fake" reality shows. We have a feeling this war has just begun! Whose side are you on? Team Paris or Team Hills?

Lance Bass: “The decision to uphold Prop 8 is deeply disappointing. I can only hope to one day live in a country that grants equal rights, opportunity, and freedom to all citizens.”
Ellen Degeneres: “I’m sure you heard the Prop 8 news. One day when everyone is treated with full equality, we’ll look back and realize how wrong this was.”
Melissa Etheridge: “So, will anyone be sleeping better tonight? Those full of hate and fear will surely be disappointed that 18,000 same sex couples will be living in wedded bliss, kissing their spouses goodnight, checking off those little ‘married’ boxes on all those forms we fill out nowadays. That’s really going to drive them crazy.”
Kathy Griffin: “My 89 year old mother has asked me to get her a wheelchair to take her to a protest tonight, even though she isn’t in the greatest of health. She is neither gay, nor the parent of a gay person, but she is as passionate about this decision as I am. I am so proud to march with her. Shame on the CA Supreme Court for this decision that history will not look back on fondly.”
Kim Kardashian: "This really makes me sad. I thought we were more forward thinking than this, and I'm disappointed in the Supreme Court for being so close-minded. Everyone...gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered -- EVERYONE should have equal rights to marry who they want to."
Holly Montag: "BOO CALI! Our Bill of Rights and Constitution intended equal rights for ALL regardless of race, gender, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, age or creed!"
Eliza Dushku: "Shame on California Supreme Court!"
Dozens of rallies are being planned for today for people who are against the decision. What is your reaction?

When Kristin heard that Lauren Conrad was leaving the show, she jumped at the opportunity to join the cast. Kristin has since signed on to appear in six upcoming episodes.
The former Laguna Beach star is not just planning on making a messily cameo, she's convinced she's going to bigger and better than Lauren. As if!
Hollyscoop caught up with both Spencer Pratt and Holly Montag at the launch party for Catch Boutique in Los Angeles last night to get their reactions about their new cast member.
When Hollyscoop asked Stephanie what she thought about Kristin saying she’d do a better job than Lauren on the show, she was shocked.
She told us, “You’re kidding?! I can’t talk about that stuff, MTV hasn’t sent out their press release yet so I’m not allowed.” But boy was she shocked about Kristin's statement!
Holly chimed in telling Hollyscoop that although she thinks Kristin is fun to watch, she’s hoping it will make Lauren come back to the show!
Kristin didn’t have a problem letting the paps know how she felt the other night. When asked about possibly replacing Lauren, she said, she said she thinks she can "do it better than her."
Do you think Kristin is a good replacement for Lauren? She's known to be a drama queen, but can she win over Lauren's audience? You tell us!

Earlier this week Holly told Hollyscoop that she supports "anything Heidi wants to do. She’s an adult and I just want her to be happy and she seems sublimely happy." And now Spencer's sister Stephanie is singing a similar tune.
“I can’t imagine Spencer being with anyone else,” Stephanie told Hollyscoop at the Conga Room Reopening Party at LA Live.
Unlike Holly, Spencer's sister was one of the few people that were not surprised by the "secret" elopement. “No, I think the aftermath was like 'Whoa their really married', cause Heidi is my age, so it’s bizarre, but they’re so cute together.”
In regards to the couple having another wedding, Stephanie said her and Heidi's sister Holly will make sure it happens. “Holly and I will force them. We won't miss out on getting dresses,” she joked.
While the couple has hinted at having kids soon (all for press, we're sure) Stephanie insists it isn't in the cards yet. “No, No, No… not at all."
The world can only handle one Heidi and one Spencer at a time, let's hold off on procreating guys, there aren't enough paparazzi's to go around. What do you guys think of the couples union? Will it last? Will they actually make it legal?

Quickly after the news broke of the nuptials, Heidi's mother expressed her disappointment and even accused Spencer of drugging her daughter.
Heidi's family has been very verbal about how much they dislike their daughter dating Spencer, but her sister Holly Montag has kept mum on the subject...until now.
"I think she got caught off guard because it was the first interview about the wedding when she had a lot of raw feelings and she kind of let loose about it," Holly told Hollyscoop exclusively at the Ubisoft Presents Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party Video Game Launch Party at Apple Lounge.
"I think she’s kind of remorseful about what she said in retrospect. We all understand and everybody understands," Holly told Hollyscoop.com
We already know how her mother feels about the union, but how does Heidi's sister feel about it? "I support anything Heidi wants to do. She’s an adult and I just want her to be happy and she seems sublimely happy."
As supportive as she may be, she was still upset that she was kept in the dark about the wedding. She explains, "I was initially a little hurt not being able to be apart of it. But it’s her choice and it’s a special thing between those two...so whatever they want."
Could the rising tension between Spencer and Heidi's mother have resulted in the elopement? According to Holly, it was certainly a possibility. "I think the wedding was a spur of the moment thing and it wasn’t premeditated so that could have something to do with it, not wanting the drama," she told Hollyscoop.
Since Heidi and Spencer aren't legally married, Holly is hoping she'll be invited to the official ceremony...if they decide to have one. "I would love to. I hope so," added Holly. Maybe there's a tabloid newsletter list Holly can get on to get an alert about their next wedding.
