There’s a baby on the horizon for girl next door Holly Madison!
InTouch Weekly has the details on the reality star/former Playboy Mansion inhabitant’s plans to start a family of her own.
“I’ve started the adoption process … I really want to be a mommy.”
From about 2001 to 2008 Madison was one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, and at one point she earned the coveted title of his Number One Girl.
She starred in six seasons of “The Girls Next Door” alongside two of Hugh’s other special friends, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson. She, like Wilkinson, also had a spin-off series and competed on “Dancing with the Stars.”
For years she professed her love for Hef, wanted to be his wife and mother to his children. Obviously she missed the memo on what he was all about and had to eventually abandon those delusions.
She has been starring in her own theatrical peep-show thing in Las Vegas, but last month told People magazine she wasn’t going to renew her contract in hopes of becoming pregnant in the near future.
She sung the praises of her boyfriend of less than a year, Pasquale Rotella, "Definitely being with the right guy has a lot to do with it. My relationship is awesome. I'm happier than I've ever been in my personal life."
No word on what caused the shift from pregnancy to adoption, but she did tell InTouch “I love performing in the theater, and you can’t really do that when you’re pregnant.”
Madison is working with the adoption mentoring service Hold My Hand and is hoping to get a child from either Africa or South Korea.
