Also, we can all probably relate to their stories a little more. To celebrate the spirit of hard work and perseverance, we’re rounding up our favorite celebrities who used to be homeless.
Halle Berry: When Halle Berry left home for Hollywood, her mother did not approve. After being cut off, Mama Berry gave her daughter two choices: come home or find a way to make it. Berry chose the latter, and while she ultimately succeeded, part of her journey included a stint in a homeless shelter. It was probably hell, but it was worth it.

Most high school dropouts don't have much luck at finding a stable career path, but the entertainment industry is a totally different thing. It's a gamble, but if you get lucky, you can have a million dollar career with only a sixth grade education.
Here are 10 celebrity dropouts. But don't get delusional kids—stay in school.
Tracy Morgan: Why doesn't this surprise me? Tracy Morgan is funny, but part of his whole shtick is sounding dumb. "I'm glad I dropped out of high school, man. I wouldn’t be where I’m at. I would have had a net. I’m glad I didn’t have anything to fall back on, man, because that made me go for my dreams that much harder.”

Celebs, on the other hand, have the luxury of blaming their changing looks on the colorful roles they take on. And because stars are called out for every flaw, sometimes getting a bad haircut—or even shaving it all off—can be liberating. Other times, it leaves them feeling like the lead singer of a 90s punk band, and they opt for extensions. Here are 10 celebs and the bad haircuts they got for movie roles.
Natalie Portman: When Natalie Portman was filming V for Vendetta, her long, beautiful locks were chopped off during filming. In a single shot, the one-take-wonder had her natural hair shaved-off while the cameras were rolling, and she was in character crying.
Javier Bardem: Javier Bardem’s Dora The Explorer haircut in No Country for Old Men was so bad, it left the actor depressed.
Costar Josh Brolin claimed: “[Javier] was depressed during the process…he felt like he wouldn’t have sex for three months. Full-blown depression. I mean, bad.”

Until it's time to gain that weight back. After the movie comes out, you just pick up your Oscar, say thanks, and down a few Double Doubles with cheese.
The following celebrities have all had the luxury of bulking up either for-or after-a film...

The Tourist may have snagged up a few GG's earlier this week but there was absolutely no mention of it in the SAG's. True Grit got multiple nominations, while Black Swan and The King's Speech scored a ton of nominations.
Justin Timberlake didn't get a mention for a GG, but got a mention under the category "Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture," for The Social Network. Sorry JT, that Oscar nod isn't looking so great.
As predicted Colin Firth, Jeff Bridges and James Franco picked up a Best Actor nomination, while Natalie Portman, Annette Bening and Nicole Kidman compete for the Best Actress award.
The great thing about the SAG awards is that actors honor other actors, which makes it different than any other awards show. Check out the nominees below and tell us your thoughts about the list...

Conviction tells the real life story of Betty Anne Waters, who devoted her life to freeing her brother, who she feels was falsely convicted of murder.
Hilary Swank, who is no stranger to the golden statue tells Hollyscoop that the feeling of a movie getting Oscar buzz is amazing. "It feels, it’s just remarkable, I love this movie," Swank told Hollyscoop exclusively at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. "It means so much to me. It means that somehow all of us as a collaboration did justice to Betty Anne and Kenny who mean a lot to me."

She and actor Chad Lowe split up in 2006 after nine years of marriage, and Swank says it didn’t ruin the constitution of marriage for her.
She told In Style, “A lot of people look at divorce as a failure. I really look at my relationship with Chad as 14 years of success. I will carry him in my heart forever. He's a part of me.”
Hilary also believes some people are just meant to be in your life for a certain amount of time and then leave!
“Friends of mine and I talk about this. Does someone come into your life for a certain time, and then you are supposed to go your separate ways? There's a part of me that thinks that's true,” she said.
Nevertheless, Swank still believes in marriage. “There are friendships that we grow out of,” she explained. “But I believe in the long haul. I believe in having a monogamous relationship."
So will she be marrying her boyfriend John Campisi, also her agent, whom she started dating right after her divorce? Hilary replied, “I believe in the sanctity of marriage. John and I, you know, we were both in long marriages and it's not something that we need to rush back into.”
As for kids, 36-year-old Hilary says she and Campisi want them, but when “the time is right.”
Sounds like she has everything figured out!

But Chad now has something to smile about, since he and his girlfriend Kim Painter are expecting! His rep confirmed the news to People Magazine today, saying, “Kim Painter and Chad Lowe announced today that they are expecting a baby in early summer. The couple is overjoyed and could not be happier.”
Chad and Kim started seeing each other in 2007. Entertainment Tonight reports that the baby is a girl, and that she’ll be giving birth in May.
We’re so glad Chad has found happiness again. It was just last year that he told People his relationship with Painter and his gig on 24 helped him get through "a very dark period" after his split from Swank. Congrats to the happy couple!

Donning a tie, vest, and button-down shirt, Hil danced up and down the aisles for quite some time. From far away they actually look like twins! Hilary actually suggests playing Ellen in her next movie, which to be honest, would probably be a really good story.
