We had reported a few days ago that Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden and his main squeeze Hilary Duff had called it quits. Well Joel has now confirmed his split with Hilary. Joel confirmed his split from Hilary Duff after dating for nearly two and half years in Chicago, Illinois. Joel made a DJ appearance at hotspot Enclave on Wednesday where he told club goers he was no longer with Duff. The band's manager Steve Feinberg tells People,, "I can indeed confirm that Joel is single. We are not going to elaborate on Joel's personal life but I will say they have split."
According to a witness at the Chicago club, Madden cited the couple's age difference as the source of the problems in their relationship. Madden, 27, and Duff, 19, only went public with their relationship last year.
