Hilary Duff is single and ready to mingle. This cutie revealed to Ryan Seacrest’s L.A. radio show yesterday that she has been on a date with an actor but wouldn’t give a name. Hilary went on to say, "I've never gotten to (date) before, so it's kind of exciting. I've always just had a boyfriend, you know? I'm young!"

Duffster recently broke up with Good Charlotte front-man Joel Madden, late last year, after two and half years together and reveals it wasn’t a bitter breakup. "There was nothing – no fight, no 'He did this, I did this,'" she said. "It was just time for people to move on and do different things." Hilary added that the two still keep in touch, ” I had a really great relationship with him, and we still have a great relationship, which is really good and unusual. He's a good person, and I always will care about him." Does that mean we're not gonna see a cat fight between Hilary and Nicole?

In the meantime, Hilary is going to date and have fun. "It's fun. I kind of feel like a guy, like I can do it now." She added, laughing, "But I feel kind of wrong at the same time."
