Hilary Duff Surprised By Proposal

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have been dating for over two years, so we all knew an engagement was coming….but Hilary did not! According to her sister Haylie Duff, she was completely taken aback by the proposal!

Haylie told People, "She was completely surprised, I don't think that happens all the time. I think most of the time people figure it out or have some idea that it’s going to happen, and I think it's great he was able to do a surprise like that for her."

Haylie went on to say that her entire family completely adores Mike. "I adore him," she said. "He's wonderful."

As for the wedding, Haylie says Hilary and Mike are just enjoying their engagement at the moment, and haven’t thought much about the upcoming nuptials. Haylie added, "They just got engaged a few days ago. I don’t even know if she's thinking of the wedding yet."

We hope they take their time! No sense in rushing things! Congrats to the happy couple!
