Hollywood is a rough town! Not a lot of people can make it and remain the same person they were before the fame. Look what happened to Lindsay Lohan! One person that insists that fame will never change who she is as a person is Hilary Duff.
"I'm not going to stop doing what I love because I'm afraid of breaking down. But I've seen how easily it happens. My sister, Haylie, and I used to live in this apartment complex with lots of young Hollywood stars. I watched lots of famous people earning too much and getting into trouble. I saw people lose everything. Thankfully, I haven't fallen into that trap."
Why I believe Hilary has stayed so normal is because she doesn’t get too involved in the “scene”. Her best friend is her friend from childhood and she has her older sister with her at all times to watch out for her. Like any normal person, she goes out and has fun here and there but she doesn't overdo it like the rest of Young Hollywood
