Catfight!!!
Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway are not friends. Last week, Faye made a snide comment in response to the fact that Hilary Duff will be playing her role in the upcoming Bonnie And Clyde remake.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Faye said, “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
Not exactly the nicest thing to say. But Faye was just speaking her mind. It must be hard to see a role you made famous over 40 years ago get redone by a tween.
But Hilary had every right to rebuff, which she did to her fullest. It may have taken over a week, but Hil’s come up with an equally as stinging comeback.
According to E!’s Daily 10, Hilary responded with: "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.
"It's not really like taken off of the movie, it's taken off the true story of Bonnie and Clyde. So the movie was adjusted slightly by how they wanted to do it and this is kind of like the true events of how everything went down."
Ouch! She went for the gold on that one, even attacking Faye’s looks! Faye’s right in the fact that it probably won’t be the best remake in the world. But Hilary Duff sells tickets. She still has a huge fan base, and that should count for something right?
