Celebrities are human, and like us regular folk, they have bad dates too. I know, I assumed all celebrities meet each other at sushi restaurants and go on dates to the moon, or whatever. But according to these stars, they’ve had some pretty bad dates.

Tina Fey: Tina Fey remembers a time when her date almost died. “One time a guy invited me to go mountain climbing on a date, and he fell off the mountain. He was showing off, and he just fell.” Yeah, I’d say any date that ends in the emergency room, or on the side of a cliff, would be a very bad date.

Daniel Radcliffe: After claiming that he “hates” dating, Daniel Radcliffe says he gets to second base on a first date, except it was on accident. Somehow he thinks this is a bad date? Talking about his first date with his current girlfriend, “I didn't know what was appropriate, like on which date you're supposed to try and kiss her.
A lot of celebrities write books. Actually, too many of them. Nobody wants to read “Hooking Up with Tila Tequila” by Tila Tequila. The market is a little oversaturated right now.

That being said. There are some excellent celebrity books, like Tina Fey’s “Bossy Pants” and Alicia Silverstone’s “The Kind Diet” and then there are other celeb books that aren’t so great, like “Elixir” by Hilary Duff, but are somehow incredibly popular.

So here they are, the most successful celebrity “authors” ever. I put that in air quotes, because c’mon, nobody wants to be know as an “author” when you can be labeled a “celebrity.”

Lauren Conrad: Conrad is such a successful author she has 4 books! That’s four more than Audrina Patridge has got. Lauren wrote a trilogy of books called the “LA Candy” series, which follows the life of Jane Roberts who moves to LA for a fashion internship and ends up starring on a reality show! Gasp, this is NOTHING like the “The Hills.”

According to a recent study, one of the most pronounced symptoms of Baby Fever is painting your pregnant stomach and then tweeting a photo of it for all the world to see, a la Mariah Carey.

And Hilary Duff has baby fever.

The actress painted a picture of a boxed gift along with the phrase Happy Holidays on her stomach, then posed with a Santa hat in front of a tree and posted it to her Twitter page.

We've seen Hilary Duff grow up before our eyes, so it's hard to imagine that the young star is going to be a mom in just a few months. Duff has been carrying her baby bump well, and her motherly instincts have already kicked in.

Hollyscoop talked to the mom-to-be at the launch of her stylist Jessica Pastor's JustFab collection and asked if she thinks her son will follow in her or her hockey-playing husband, Mike Comrie's, footsteps.

"It's really tough to say," Hilary says. She then tells us, "When I first started seeing Mike, he would come home with five stitches on his face…and I would be like, 'oh my god, what is this?'"
Pregnant woman can be strang creatures. Between dealing with the hormones and coping with major life (and body) changes, pregnant women can make some pretty weird demands.

Among those demands are usually weird pregnancy cravings. Somehow, their taste buds-- and smell buds—change, and they start yearning for weird mixtures of food. If you thought pickles and ice cream were a strange pregnancy craving, check out what these celebs wanted to eat while they were pregnant.

Jessica Simpson: Salty fruit. Simpson recently revealed she has been eating cantaloupe "like a crazy person" and can no longer eat pizza because it "tastes sour."

"I crave cantaloupe like a crazy person," Simpson said. "But I put salt all over it, so I don't know if it's that healthy. I crave anything salty and sweet. That mixture to me is so good. I can eat a whole cantaloupe in one morning."
Hilary Duff, or the Duffster (that’s what I call her because we are totally BFF’s) made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to announce the sex of her baby.

The episode will air on Monday and Ellen was the first to hear the big announcement.

“I haven’t told anyone yet. I wanted to tell you first. I just found out. It’s a boy! I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time,” Duff tells Ellen.

If the Tyra Banks Show was still on TV, you know Tyra would give Duff an ultrasound onstage while her husband and entire family crouch behind a curtain waiting to hear the news. Then blue balloons would fall from the ceiling and the camera would cut-away to shots of women in the audience crying hysterically. But only if this were the Tyra Banks show.
Breaking News: Hilary Duff has been abducted by aliens! KIDDING. Duff just said that being pregnant is so weird it’s like her body has been taken over by an alien.

While her pregnancy is going pretty good, she admits it’s strange not having control of her body.

“It’s literally like an alien has taken over your body. One day I’ll have a good day, and one day I’ll have a bad day, and it kind of goes like that,” says Duff.

That must suck. Hey I feel great…wait a minute, insane craving for nutella and black beans coming on right now. Dammit, spoke too soon.

It hasn’t even been twenty-four hours since Beyonce announced her pregnancy, and we’re already worried about her career.

Not that there’s anything to worry about. She’s pretty much already done it all. But the singer had an upcoming starring role in the Clint Eastwood-directed flick, A Star Is Born. And the title couldn't be any more appropriate unless it was Beyonce Is Having a Baby.

The movie is a remake of the original musical and was set to start shooting in February 2012. It will be Beyonce’s debut as lead in a movie. And with all of her career highlights, the only thing she has left to do is scoop up an Oscar.

The good news is, Beyonce still has her role. But now that Beyonce has announced she’s a mom-to-be, the studio might be pushing the flick back. According to Deadline, changing the dates will also give Eastwood time to...
Most of the time, those speculative baby bump stories turn out to be just that—stories. But sometimes, the tabloids get it right.

As it turns out, Hilary Duff’s baby bump wasn’t just gas. The actress is indeed pregnant. And the kid is already starting trouble. Duff was excited about starting her role in Bonnie and Clyde, which has been in the works for years. She told Hollyscoop earlier this month:

“I’m really excited I just got a phone call from the director saying ‘okay, we’re going to be ready to go soon’, so this has been a long time coming…I’m looking forward to playing that different character and kind of sharing that un-glamorized version of the movie.”

But unfortunately, Hilary will be forced to enjoy motherhood, as she has just been dropped from the flick.

Woohoo! I'm trending on Twitter! Oh, wait, no, I'm dead.

This morning subjected us to yet another celebrity death hoax. Tuesday night, both Facebook and Twitter were buzzing with the news of Jackie Chan's death. Again.

Good news, Chan is alive and well. Well, most likely. There's been no update to his Facebook or Twitter page since Tuesday, and his reps have not responded to the claims. Probably because they can't keep up with them. Chan was rumored to be dead back in March as well.

Chan is definitely not the first subject of celebrity death hoaxes. In fact, it's been a pretty busy year for them. Here are 10 celebs you might have thought died in 2011.

Hilary Duff: Reports of Hilary's death surfaced on August 11. She apparently fell off of a cliff at a golf course in New Zealand. Well, that's creative.
