American singer and actress Hilary Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She rose to stardom playing the title role in the television show Lizzie McGuire. Hilary has also appeared in several films like Cheaper by the Dozen and The Perfect Man.

There used to be a time when talk shows were a place for celebrities to promote a new film or TV show, now, it’s a place to discuss the intricacies of giving birth.

Hilary Duff stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about going into labor. Sure, why not.

“It was a very easy [delivery],” Duff tells Ellen, “I went into labor at about 1 in the morning and I very calmly had my bags packed and woke my husband up after about 3 hours of walking up and down my hallway. Then I’m like ok, it’s time to go, let’s go now.”

On Monday, new mom Hilary Duff took to Twitter to do what new moms do best: post pictures of their kids on Twitter. And Facebook. Pretty much everywhere and anywhere, really.

“My favorite little feet,” Duff tweeted, showing off a picture of her two week-old son Luca Cruz’s feet.

Luca is Hilary’s first child, and she and husband Mike Comrie welcomed him into the world on March 20.

Anyways, Hil Duff gave birth to Luca Cruz Comrie less than a week ago and is opening up about how hard it actually is.

Hilary tweeted, “Luca fed! Mamma fed! Time to do it all again in 2 hours! Oh how life has changed! In such a wonderful way.”

The Duffster should give Snooki parenting advice. I wonder if Snooks knows that you have to feed your baby too. Babies can eat jello shots, right?

“Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie!” Hilary Tweeted. “Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy.”

The name Luca is apparently an Italian name and means “man from Lucania.” Lucania is a region in southern Italy that’s thought to have been named in ancient times with a word meaning

Hilary Duff’s hockey-playing husband had one too many injuries and is officially retiring from the sport, just in time to be a stay at home dad. A job that is seriously underrated.

The Canadian athlete has had a recurring hip injury, and it’s only getting worse, limiting him to just 127 games in the last three seasons. Duff Tweeted to fans:

"As many of u know mike has announced his retirement. Its a bittersweet day! He had a wonderful career! but 3 hip surgeries in 5 years is alot!"
