NBC Producers Say Speidi Abuse Claims are Untrue
New rumors surfaced on the web this week that claimed Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt had been tortured on the set of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.

Stephanie Pratt added fuel to the fire by writing on her Twitter page Saturday night, "I'm really saddened to hear that nbc felt it was ok to punish speidi so harshly-and torture them as if they were criminals-that Heidi was...rushed to the hospital and has an IV in her arm after being locked in a dark room for 3 days w no food or water. Pls pray she will be ok.”

On-set sources have responded to the harsh allegations, saying they are completely false. A statement from the show reads:

"ITV Studios, producers of the series, state that press reports at this time are untrue. ITV has been producing this format around the world for many years and the health of the celeb participants are of the utmost importance. A medic and a doctor are present at the location at all times for all participants. All allegations of the celebrities being deprived of food and water are completely untrue."

A show source continued on about the Lost Chamber which Spencer and Heidi were placed in. He said, "There was no danger, no life-threatening situations -- in fact, they were actually protected from the elements, unlike the other contestants. When they came out, they were happy and in good spirits."

We don’t put it past Speidi for making their conditions on the show seem a lot worse than they are. It’s Speidi after all! Guess we’ll all just have to tune in tonight to see what really happens after they’re released from the chamber. This show is sucking us in, just like The Hills!
