Hollywood girls are so funny, everyone is so busy being superficial they don't realize how ridiculous they are. Heidi Montag, who is the "The Hills" attention whore clique leader got "engaged" to her boyfriend Spencer Pratt a few months ago. There were rumors that the engagement was a big fake and they were just doing it for press, and it turns out the engagement (and her boobs and nose) aren't the only fakes--her engagement ring is too.
Spencer didn't even purchase the fake ring himself, he had to borrow pal Brody Jenner's credit card to buy the engagement ring. He purchased the ring from the Ice Accessory store at a mall in Brentwood.
Heidi's "pink diamond" ring is actually a lavender, lemon amethyst; however, the ring is surrounded by diamonds which according to TMZ cost Brody Jenner $2,890. But the Ice Website currently has the ring for $250.
I can't wait to see what's next in their elaborate pr engagement plan. He's probably going to cheat on her, Heidi is going to sell her story to Us Weekly for some public sympathy. All of this will conveniently happen the same week that Heidi's new 'pop album' is being released. Hollywood is soooo predictable!
