Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt On Sarah Palin

October 02, 2008

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt left “The Hills” this afternoon in their attempt to help save the world. The reality show stars took over Taco Bell to provide customers food and awareness for their “Reality Check Challenge,” which helps stop global hunger.

Hollyscoop caught up with the couple to get the scoop on their goodwill. “We try to do good all the time, as much as possible. Anybody that has some good out there, were here to help. If 'The Hills' wants to follow it that would be great, but 'The Hills' is about drama, not saving the planet,” revealed Spencer Pratt.

So how do people get involved in the organization? “Go to your local Taco Bell," said Spencer. "Buy the coupons and start helping people around the world.”

Speaking of trying to save the world, we asked the outspoken couple about their thoughts on Republican Vice President nominee Sarah Palin. "I thought I was going to get elected, but I guess not," said Heidi with a serious face, before adding, "She seems nice to me."

Spencer jokingly threw in his two cents about Palin telling Hollyscoop, "Well I got my six pack in the car I am a true American like Sarah so were good."
