Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are obviously panicking that they’re nearing the end of their fifteen minutes, which is probably why they filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against The Hills creator Adam DiVello.
But the desperate couple has since dropped the suit out of nowhere, which makes their claims very suspicious. It’s not like anyone believed them in the first place, with their cast mates Lo Bosworth and Lauren Conrad both releasing statements calling the allegations false.
And now Heidi and Spencer don’t even believe their own lies. According to the New York Post, the couple has withdrawn the lawsuit. A source says, "Heidi and Spencer have changed their minds and realized they should just move on."
A rep for Montag didn't respond to requests for comment. This isn’t the first time they’ve pulled this kind of nonsense. Last summer, the couple threatened to sue NBC, claiming he was tortured on the show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.
At the time, the network said Spencer’s claims were "untrue," adding, "The health of the celebrity participants are of the utmost importance."
Maybe someone finally told them that filing baseless lawsuits isn’t legal, and could get them in more trouble than they think.
