From Heidi to Nicole Kidman: Celebs Who Regret Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery has become so commonplace, I think human beings are going to start evolving to look like Joan Rivers. In Hollywood, most women’s faces are pulled so tight; their eyes are on the back of their necks and liposuction their legs.

Get good plastic surgery, and you can’t tell a difference. Get bad plastic surgery; you look like a melted Barbie. But for some celebs, their regrets aren’t about looks. Here are ten celebrities who wish they never went under the knife.

Heidi Montag: Heidi had ten cosmetic procedures in one day. She emerged looking like a completely different human being, and I use the term “human” loosely. “Obviously I wish I didn’t do it,” Montag recently said. “I would go back and not have any surgery.”

Tori Spelling: Tori Spelling’s breast have gotten press for being oddly shaped, but the actress regrets them for another reason. Spelling says: “I got my boobs done in my early 20's and if I had known it would or could possibly impact production of milk, I would never had had them done.”

Kenny Rogers: The 70 year old says that plastic surgery took the “warmth” out of his eyes. “I'm the plastic surgery king. I'm a bionic man! Every part of my body has been scooped or something at one time. I kind of wish I hadn't done it. Looking back at some pictures of myself, my eyes were a lot warmer than they are now, and I miss that.”

Denise Richards: Although she’s happy with her breasts now, Denise Richards says she made some mistakes when she first got them at 19. “I was in such a hurry to get them that I didn't research my doctor. I just thought because they're a plastic surgeon, they must be good. You have to be your advocate for your own body and ask 100 questions. It wasn't right what the doctor did, but it is what it is."

Lisa Rinna: Lisa got lip injections back in 1986. What a pioneer. But not only did they take over her face, they took over her life, too: “My lips started to define who I am.” So she had them reshaped. “It doesn’t matter what other people think. I did it for myself.”

Nicole Kidman: She has denied, denied denied, but finally, Nicole Kidman admitted to using Botox. Well, that’s a start. She said she never liked the results, so she stopped. “I feel better now. I can move my forehead.”

Courtney Love: Courtney Love had lip enhancement, and it didn’t take long for her to wish she had her old mouth back. “It was perfectly cute, and I had nice big lips,” Love said.

Jamie Lee Curtis: Jamie tried various types of plastic surgery and has been outspoken on her remorse. “It was a nightmare. It made me much, much more insecure. There were some complications and I had a horrible experience.” She added, “Plastic surgery doesn’t work. Show me one person who’s had it done who doesn’t look weird.”

Mickey Rourke: Mickey sustained a ton of injuries when he left acting to become a professional boxer. To fix it, he decided to have some work done. Unfortunately, he didn’t pick his doctor very well: “I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together,” Rourke admits.

Tara Reid: Oh, Tara, Tara, Tara. She quickly went from blonde bombshell to morbid curiosity. Where do we begin? How about with the boobs: “First of all, I asked for big Bs, and he did not give me big Bs," said Reid. "He gave me Cs, and I didn't want them. Right after the surgery, I had some bumps along the edges of my nipples, but the doctor said, 'Don't worry, it's going to be better.' But after six months of 'it's going to get better,' it started to get worse and worse." Then there was her stomach: “I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing." Since then, Tara’s had some corrective surgery, and she’s gone back to cute girl-next-door.
