Looking for a new home? Well, keep looking, because chances are you’re not going to be able to afford either of these.
Heidi Klum and Seal recently put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market at $6.9 million. The home sits on four acres of land, and is filled with eleven bedrooms and bedrooms. Apparently, that wasn’t enough room for the couple, because they’re buying a home twice that size in Brentwood, a neighborhood located in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Built in 1988, the estate is described as “a 21st-century Loire Valley Chateau”. It includes a pool, tennis court, private stone terrace, and wine vault. And after dropping $6 million, you’re gonna spend a lot of time in that vault.
Also on the market this week, is the Bel-Air home of the late Elizabeth Taylor. The home is coming on the market at $8.6 million. The actress owned this 60s ranch house from 1981 until her death. At 7,000 square feet, the home includes five bedrooms, maid’s quarters, an office and a bathroom with a sauna.
What’s that you ask? Is there a koi pond with a waterfall? Well, of course there’s a koi pond with a waterfall. What is this, a trailer home?
The home Avril Lavigne shared with ex-husband Deryck Whibley is also now on the market. The Bel Air property is $9.5 million, featuring eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a gym and sauna, wine cellar and 10-car garage. It seems expensive, but just think, you can live in a house where terrible, terrible music was written. Really awful stuff, both of them.
