Heidi Klum Comments on Halloween Costume Controversy

November 17, 2008

Every Halloween Heidi Klum's annual costume party is the hottest ticket in town. It's a who's who of celebrity A-listers and Heidi always wears the most interesting and intriguing costumes.

This past Halloween Heidi got a lot of heat from America's leading Hindus for her Goddess Kali costume. Not only were they upset about the costume, they wanted a public apology from the supermodel for posing as a sacred figure.

Hollyscoop caught up with Heidi in Miami during the Victoria's Secret fashion show to get her thoughts on her controversial costume. "I loved my costume and I love Halloween. I mean that is one of my most favorite times of the year. I've done so many different things. This was probably my tenth time and I've done so many people like Betty Boob and Lady Godiva and its always a take on someone your not that person. So I love Halloween," she said.

If it looked like she was struggling in her costume, it's probably because she was. "It was kind of like wearing the wings, a little bit. The same person that does the wings is the one that made the costume," said Heidi.

No word on whether the Hindus got their apology or not, but we're pretty sure Heidi is going to give next years costume a thorough background check.

Someone is going to piss off someone, so don't worry about it and do for it. It was a costume for crying out loud!
