Is Heidi Klum putting the claws away?
The sloppy back-and-forth between the 39-year-old blonde and her ex Seal might be on its way to recovery. Klum opened up about their relationship woes this week on Katie Couric’s new talk show, “Katie.”
In the interview, Heidi told Couric that the skies are starting to clear with her and the “Kissed From a Rose” singer.
“I don't know if we're the greatest friends right now, especially because of the things that he said," Klum said, adding, "I just saw him on, on Sunday. We were talking and we're in an okay place."
“An okay place” is a massive improvement for the couple that seemed to be aiming for the jugular just earlier this month.
The drama began to unfold when Seal accused Heidi of sleeping with her longtime bodyguard, Martin Kristen, while they were still married, telling TMZ, "at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help."
A statement from Heidi’s rep retorted, “"It is sad that Seal has to resort to this kind of behavior and spread these untruths about the mother of his children."
Seal has since reemerged, backpedaling from the quote, releasing the following statement:
"Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating while they were together, but he was merely pointing out that their separation and divorce are not yet final and they are indeed still legally married."
On “Katie,” Heidi continued, telling the host that the couple’s relationship was “a work in progress.”
"It's hard especially when you are in the public eye too,” she said. “People are always looking at you closely and at everything you do. And they also don't always see exactly how it really is."
Heidi and Seal were married for seven years. They share four children together: Leni, 8, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.
