Locklear Suicide Call Was a False Alarm

March 10, 2008

Last night paramedics rushed to Heather Locklear's home in Thousand Oaks, California after getting a call about an alleged "suicide attempt."

When the fire department arrived, “Ms Locklear said she was fine and there appeared to be no problem. Nobody in the house needed medical attention so we left after about 10 minutes.”

The phone call was not made by Locklear herself, but by a "concerned citizen" who feared Locklear might try to commit suicide.

Locklear's publicist told TMZ that the call was a false alarm, saying: "[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance."

So there you have it folks, no need to panic. Heather didn't attempt suicide, nor is she hurt.
