After news broke that Heather Locklear had been rushed to the hospital yesterday on suspicion that she might harm herself and was in a psychologically unstable position, her parents have now stated that she is doing just fine.
“She is in no danger and she’s going to be just fine” her parents Bill and Diane Locklear said in a statement.
While she rests at Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousands Oaks, Ca the hospital says she is “medically stable” and that she arrived at the hospital at 2:30 pm and was asleep by 8pm.
Her sister, who feared that Locklear was unstable and might commit bodily harm, made the 911 call yesterday. When the paramedics arrived, they determined that Locklear had consumed a combination of prescription drugs and alcohol and her sister was worried about her.
A source close to the star has now revealed she was taking Xanax, a drug used to treat anxiety and panic disorder.
Yesterday, Radaronline reported that Locklear hasn’t been right since she called off her engagement to Jack Wagner back in November.
The source says, “She is distraught over her relationship with Jack, it is on and off and it has upset her lately.”
Also, this is the second time a 911 like this has been made at Heather Locklear’s home.
Back in 2008, someone who claimed to be her doctor made a 911 call that Locklear was trying to commit suicide at her home. However, when the police arrived everything seemed to be fine and they left.
