Heather Locklear Charged With DUI

Heather Locklear has officially been charged with driving under the influence for her incident back in September. According to TMZ, she was charged for being under the influence of prescription meds which caused her to drive erratically. No alcohol was detected on her person.

Santa Barbara County Deputy Distrit Attorney Lee Carter told reporters: “Although no alcohol or illegal narcotics were found in the actress' system… the prescription medications she consumed at the time could have impaired her ability to safely drive a motor vehicle."

Locklear's arraignment date in the case has been set for Jan. 26th, 2009.
