Heather Locklear showed up to the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I premiere last night without her fiancé on her arm. As it turns out, there was a reason for that: he's not her fiancé anymore.
The blonde bombshell announced she was going to marry her Melrose Place costar, Jack Wagner, three months ago. But now, it looks like the wedding isn't going to happen. A spokesperson for the actress told Us Magazine: "Jack and Heather are no longer engaged."
No word on why the couple decided to split, but they began dating in 2007. Maybe it's a happy reason, and she'll pull a Jessica Simpson, hide her pregnancy for three months, and then Tweet a photo of herself dressed as a mummy.
Okay, that's not going to happen. Locklear was previously married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora. So it probably has something to do with the fact that Jack Wagner doesn’t have tattoos and sing cheesy rock music.
The past few years have been turbulent ones for Locklear. Last year she was arrested for a hit-and-run accident, which she was later cleared for. She hit a No Parking sign in Ventura County, California. Hey, it didn’t say "no hitting and running," so I guess she was good.
In 2008, the actress entered rehab for anxiety and depression. A call was made by someone claiming to be her doctor, saying that Locklear was trying to commit suicide. Her agent confirmed that Healther was suffering from anxiety and depression. She stayed at the facility for four weeks before she returned home.
Meanwhile, Heather's pal, Denise Richards, is back on with Sambora. The reports have been circulating for a couple of weeks now, and when Sambora hit a red carpet event last week, he was asked about his rekindled romance with Richards.
"Things are good," the aging rocker laughed. "And I'm very happy."
Locklear has a daughter with Sambora, Ava, who is fourteen.
"I always say I want to come back as Ava Sambora," Locklear told People. "She has such confidence."
And the admiration is mutual. The teen says of her mom:“She is really, really funny. And even if she doesn’t know someone, she can click with them like that."
Especially if they're a drummer or a guitarist.
Locklear is currently working on The Assistants, a CBS comedy. The show focuses on a group of young assistants who work for a celebrity power couple.
